Incoming Cross Registration Students
Cross-registration enables Georgia State students to take courses at any of the 20 member institutions of the Atlanta Regional Consortium for Higher Education and receive credit, while paying tuition costs to the home institution. The intent of the program is to allow qualified students to take course work in their area of study that is not available on their own campuses. Graduate students must have the approval of the faculty advisor or department chair from their home institution and must be enrolled at Georgia State during the term of cross-registration. Admitted cross-registrants graduate students e-mail will be sent to their official GSU e-mail address. To access this email you must visit www.student.gsu.eduto set up your GSU student email account. Choose "Help," and click "Display Login Information;" enter your student ID number; and enter your six-digit GoSOLAR Access Code" (initially the month, day, year of your birth) and choose "submit" for your e-mail account and initial password.
Many of our faculty use uLearn to provide web-based materials to enrich their courses and facilitate learning. Some of the features available include syllabus, assignment drop box, student presentation area, etc. Your uLearn username will be the same as your Georgia State University username; it is everything before the @ sign in your GSU email address and your password will be the same as your GoSOLAR pin number.
