MBA Foundation Courses
There are two ways to exempt 7000-level foundation courses within the MBA program.
Admitted students with undergraduate degrees in business or economics from AACSB or EQUIS accredited institutions with grades of B- or higher in equivalent courses will be exempted from MBA 7025 and/or MBA 7035.
Admitted students with or without the undergraduate degree in business or economics have the option of either taking the 3 hour courses or fulfilling the foundation requirements through a guided self-study online course on a pass/fail basis. Students who elect to take the online test must do so before the start of their first semester of enrollment since these foundation courses are the prerequisites for many other courses.

Harvard Business School – Quantitative Analysis Course
This foundational course will provide you with great on-line preparation for a rigorous business school program. This course is solely designed to help you adjust to entering into graduate school. Please visit the following link to register and begin working on the course. You have a pre-test and two attempts at passing the final test. The pre-assessment does not count towards passing the test, it simply prepares you for the final. The final test has four modules and you are required to score 80% or higher on each section. Only one final test score is required. If you have any questions, please contact the Graduate Advisement Office for additional assistance.

Fill out all required information associated with the contract
Once signed in, please take the following steps:
1- Under the Search Catalog box, click the "Go" button
2- Select your eLearning program from the Learning Offerings
3- Click the "Register" link to the right
4- Click the "Confirm" button (be sure to disable your pop-up blocker"
5- Click the "Place Order" button
6- Go back to the "Home" tab (top left corner of the site) and view the course listed under "My Enrollments".
MBA 7035 – Economics for Managers
Students who are taking MBA 7035 as an online self-study course can purchase IVY software and binder Fundamentals of Economics for $65.00. Contact Rossanna Jessee at the Park Place Bookstore @ 404-525-5100/ via e-mail parkplacebooks@bellsouth.net / 22 Park Place South, SE Atlanta, GA 30303. Please inform her that this is for the Flex MBA program. Providing an address, Rossanna will mail the binder directly to you for an additional $6.00 shipping fee.
Once you have completed studying and taking each section quiz, you will take an online test. Only one attempt allowed for passing the final MBA 7035 exam. The exam is located at www.ivysoftware.com from the main page, click on "Products" and then log-in to take the test under "Online Testing". Under Program, scroll down and select Georgia State University Flex MBA and select the Economics for Managers Test. The password for the exam is 648274.
