School of Accountancy

Ph.D. Program: Admission

The School of Accountancy seeks applicants who demonstrate the discipline needed to pursue Ph.D. studies and conduct independent research. Applicants with strong academic backgrounds and work experience are preferred.

Our evaluation of the applicant's potential for success in our program is based on a combination of scholastic achievements, work experience, Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), personal essays, personal interviews and recommendation letters. International applicants whose native language is not English must also submit TOEFL scores. However, international applicants with degrees from the U.S. (or other countries where English is the primary language) are exempted from the TOEFL requirement.

The Ph.D. program within the School of Accountancy admits only full-time Ph.D. students.
