School of Accountancy

Ph.D. Program: Financial Assistance

The School of Accountancy currently provides all Ph.D. students with student assistantships.

Assistantships take the form of both graduate research assistantships and/or graduate teaching assistantships. Both assistantships include an annual stipend and tuition waiver and are awarded contingent on good progress in the program.

Support is provided for five years. Whereas we do not anticipate or recommend taking more than five years, teaching assistantships are typically available to provide sixth-year funding if necessary.

The School of Accountancy also encourages students to attend research conferences and provides funding for student attendance within each annual travel budget.
