Doctoral Program: Introduction

The objective of our Ph.D. program is to graduate individuals with the qualifications and ability to obtain positions and succeed in quality academic institutions. 

Dr. Lynn Hannan, the doctoral advisor, is responsible for mentoring and advising students through their studies and research. Our large faculty is highly specialized. The faculty research and expertise include financial accounting, tax, management accounting and strategy, information systems, and auditing.The publications of the faculty appear in prestigious academic and applied journals. 

In recent years, our Ph.D. graduates have joined reputable institutions such as Arizona State University, CUNY- Baruch, Louisiana State Unviersity and Texas Tech.

The program is designed for those seeking academic research and teaching careers in the study of accounting.
