Frank Blount currently is Chairman and CEO of TTS LLC, a private equity and management company focused on investments in and management of technical facilities services businesses. He also serves as CEO of Jordan International Ventures Inc., a high-tech venture capital firm.
From 2000 to 2002, Frank was Chairman and CEO of Cypress Communications Inc.
Frank was appointed CEO of Telstra, the indigenous telephone company in Australia, in January 1992 and retired from that position in March 1999.

Prior to this appointment, Frank was Group President of AT&T from 1987 to 1992. In addition, at the behest of George Bush, he accepted, on an interim, part-time basis, the position of the first CEO of the New American Schools Development Corporation in 1991—a non-profit organization established by American business leaders to launch the design of high-performance learning environments for children.
He currently is a Director of Entergy Corporation, Caterpillar Inc. and KBR Inc. in the United States and a Director of Alcatel-Lucent in Paris. In addition, Frank is a member of the Advisory Board of China Telecom and the Board of Trustees of Georgia State University.
Frank has served various organizations in the United States as Chairman of the National Technical Institute for the Deaf and Trustee of the Rochester Institute of Technology, among others. Frank has held numerous leadership positions in Australia as well, including Director and Chairman of both B Digital Pty Ltd and MyPrice Pty Ltd.
Frank co-authored a book with Bob Joss, the Dean of Stanford's Business School, entitled Managing in Australia.
Frank graduated from Georgia Tech in 1961 with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. He also earned an M.B.A. from Georgia State University in 1969 and an M.S. as a Sloan Fellow from M.I.T. in 1971. |
