The Robinson College of Business will offer a Business Learning Community (BLC) for students in Fall 2008 and Spring 2009. The BLC builds on the successful model of the Freshmen Learning Community, giving students an integrated business curriculum, and providing them with an introduction to the many programs offered in the Robinson College of Business. Students who have at least a 3.0 GSU grade-point average will be eligible to take the BLC classes. If you have a 3.5 grade-point average, you may take the BLC courses as "add on" honors classes.

NOTE: New Application form is now available for Fall 2008

Benefits of the Business Learning Community

  • Creates a rich learning experience. Students quickly get to know fellow students and faculty. Classes are limited to 40 students.
  • Provides a forum for discussion of new ideas in business.
  • Significantly increases the chance of successfully completing a B.B.A degree.
  • Makes advising and registering easier. The BLC serves as an academic orientation and an advising tool for students as they work toward a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
