Dr. Curasi's primary area of interest deals with older consumers and their possessions. She has studied family heirlooms and the meanings of those possessions that are understood and shared within their owning family. Dr. Curasi has also done a great deal of work to better understand the motivations and preferences of older consumers in the marketplace.
