CANCELLATION POLICY: To cancel your registration and be eligble for a refund, call the Economic Forecasting Center at 404-413-7260 before 4pm the day before the conference. A stop payment of a check does not constitute a formal cancellation. Registrants who do not attend the conference and have not cancelled one day prior to the conference are liable for the entire registration fee but will be mailed conference materials.
SUBSTITUTION POLICY: If an annual subscriber cannot attend the conference, another person from the same company can substitute in the subscriber's place.

James Diffley

 James Diffley

 

BIO- James Diffley is Managing Director of Global Insight's U.S. Regional Services Group. Since 1998, he has supervised the quarterly economic forecast of the 50 states and over 300 MSA's. He regularly makes presentations of these regional economic forecasts and is also responsible for customized consulting projects.

Diffley was supervising tax analyst with the New Jersey Division of Taxation's Office of Tax Analysis from 1988 to 1996, where he was responsible for developing the state economic forecast for the state executive budget. From 1982 to 1987, he was on the economics faculty at Adelphi University in New York.  Diffley did his PhD training in economics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, completing all requirements but the dissertation.

Mark Fagan

Mark Fagan 

 

BIO- Dr. Fagan joined the faculty of Jacksonville State University in 1981 and is currently head of the Department of Sociology and Social Work and Director of the Baccalaureate Social Work Program.  His research focuses on the economic impact of retirees and the development of planned and naturally occurring retirement communities. Fagan was a program developer for the Alabama Advantage for Retirees from 1988 to 1992 and has also done extensive consulting work with numerous organizations including the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Alabama. Fagan has published 76 articles and is often quoted in the media.

Dr. Fagan received a BA from Jacksonville State University, an MSW from the University of Alabama and a DSW (Doctor of Social Work) from the University of Alabama.

Frank Norton

BIO- Frank Norton is President of Norton, a conglomerate of family-fun real estate and insurance companies in North Georgia.  He has been involved in the real estate industry since 1978 and was elected Realtor of the Year in 1994 and 1996.  Norton participates in a variety of community organizations such as the Leadership GA, Economic Development Council, Phoenix, and the Hall Growth Council.  Norton is also the Chairman of the Mark Trail Foundation, a former Chairman of Bank South Hall County, the Founder of the Hispanic Alliance and the Founder of Green Street Property Owners.

Norton graduated with a BS in Building Construction from Georgia Tech and is a CCIM Candidate.  He is married and has three children.
