Professor Turner's research interests center on understanding the relationship between organizational controls and routines and the management of knowledge, organizational learning and strategic performance. Her current research examines how automotive line workers' beliefs regarding their organization's manufacturing operations affect the use of different types of knowledge and ultimately, the development of firm capabilities. Dr. Turner also has practical experience in the aerospace, automotive, and computer industries.
