  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Undergraduate degrees are required from an AACSB-accredited (or international equivalent) institution. Degrees can be from any discipline.
  • Proficiency in a 2nd language
You should be proficient in a language in addition to your native language. There are no preferred languages and English may be your second language if it is not your native tongue. Be prepared to verify your language skills during the admissions interview.
  • 2-3 years work experience preferred.
Two to three years of work experience is preferred but not required. Rising junior managers and individuals with language skills and some business experience seeking a career in global business make great candidates for this program.
  • Graduate Masters Admission Test (GMAT)
Official GMAT exam scores are required for entrance into the program. Be prepared to take the exam by March 15, 2008.  The GMAT code for Georgia State University is 5251.
  • Test of English as a Second Language (TOEFL), as applicable
Any student who has earned a bachelors degree or higher from an accredited U.S. college or university or is from a country in which the primary language is English is exempt.  For all other countries, TOEFL is required.  An official document accompanying transcripts stating that the completed university program was wholly conducted in English is required for students wishing to exempt from the TOEFL who do not meet the above criteria.
  • Letters of Recommendation
Two letters of recommendation are required. One letter should be from someone with whom you have a professional or academic relationship. A second letter should be completed by someone who can provide a personal testimony of your strength and weaknesses and qualifications for the Global Partners MBA program.
  • Essays
The application asks for your basic biographical and educational data. It also contains short questions. These questions are your opportunity to highlight qualities that are relevant to success in a graduate business program but may not be reflected in test scores and past academic records.
