International Initiatives

The J. Mack Robinson College of Business has some 30 programs on five continents. We team with some of the best schools from around the world such as COPPEAD in Rio de Janeiro, the Sorbonne in Paris, United Arab Emirates University in Dubai, the National Management School in India and many more.

Highlights and Accolades

  • The college has students from 160 countries and we have study abroad programs that allow students to travel to more than 15 different international locations.
  • Robinson's Global Partners MBA program was named to the Aspen Institute’s “Global 100” list of programs that are preparing students for the environmental, social and ethical complexities of modern-day business.
  • In December 2011, GSU received $1.3 million from The Coca-Cola Foundation to recruit, retain and graduate students who are first in their families to attend college, and to equip business students for leadership in global markets through study abroad.
  • In October 2011, the Executive MBA (EMBA) at Robinson ranked 64th worldwide according to rankings released by Financial Times. The college moved up 14 places internationally.
  • In September 2011, the World Affairs Council of Atlanta received a $50,000 grant from the UPS Foundation. The grant will be used to support the operations of the council, which was founded in 2010 and is affiliated with Georgia State University, the Robinson College of Business and the World Affairs Councils of America.
  • The Latin American Strategy Society has recognized Robinson's U.S. - Latin America Trade Program (USLAT) with its 2011 award for excellence and innovation in executive education. USLAT was founded in 2008 within Robinson's Institute of International Business (IIB) to aid Latin American firms in coming to market in the United States and to help American companies achieve the same in Latin America.
  • An analysis conducted by the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas) once again placed the Robinson College among the world's top business schools for research productivity over the most recent five-year period: No. 53 internationally.

International Connections

Robinson and the World Affairs Council of Atlanta are offering a certificate program to prepare executives for business in emerging markets. The five-day program will take place March 26-30,2012 at Robinson's Buckhead Center.

The World Affairs Council of Atlanta and the National Committee on United States-China Relations hosted a webcast and briefing on Business and the Party: Competing with China in the World. The webcast, held in Novemebre, 2011, featured Zbigniew Brzezinski, Ph.D., former National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter.
