Wesley Johnston, CBIM RoundTable Professor, taught a sales management course in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the Saudi Development and Training Corporation and a sales management course for the Kuala Lumpur Help Institute in Malaysia. Amr Kheir-El-Din, Fulbright senior scholar from Ein-Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, will be working with Johnston through September.
Naveen Donthu, Katherine S. Bernhardt Research Professor, completed a study on "Double Jeopardy" in consumers' choice of products and services on the Internet, which will be published in the Quarterly Journal of Electronic Commerce.
George Moschis, Alfred A. Bernhardt Research Professor, lectured on how to market to older consumers at Sejong University in Seoul, Korea in June.
Pam Scholder Ellen and Corliss Green, associate professors, taught in Toulouse, France at the Groupe Ecole Superiere de Commerce in May. In addition, Ellen received an Outstanding Reviewer Award from the Journal of Advertising for her contributions to the journal in 2000.
James Boles, associate professor, taught a marketing management seminar to executives in Jamaica. Chair of the American Marketing Association Sales Special Interest Group 2001-2002, he co-authored a paper, "The Moderating Role of Service Environment Design of the Customer Share - Customer Commitment Relationship," which received the William R. Darden Award for Best Research Methodology Paper at the 2001 Academy of Marketing Science Conference.
Sevo Eroglu, associate professor, and Vinita Sangtani, doctoral student, received funding from the International Council of Shopping Centers Educational Foundation for "Impact of Ethnic Minority Retailers on Urban Revitalization Efforts: The Buford Corridor Case."
Edward Rigdon, associate professor, chaired the technology and marketing track at the 2001 American Marketing Association Summer Educators Conference in San Diego.
Don Lloyd Cook, assistant professor, and Jeff Langenderfer, Berry College, were awarded Best Paper at the 2001 Marketing and Public Policy Conference for copyright policies and issues raised by A&M music v. Napster.
Constance Porter, marketing doctoral student, was awarded Best Student Paper at the conference.
Maryann Wysor, director of business communication programs, coordinated the Third Annual Women in Business Leadership Forum, sponsored by Radiant Systems and RCB's Women's Mentor Program.
Christopher Lemley, instructor, has received an appointment as visiting associate professor at the Caucasus School of Business in Tbilisi.
David Nasser, instructor, moderated a panel discussion on deregulation and the energy crisis at the Utility Communicator's International annual conference in Washington, D.C. in June.
Dick Hammill, former senior vice president of marketing and advertising for The Home Depot and member of the Marketing RoundTable, has been appointed executive in residence.

Conrad Ciccotello, professor, co-wrote "Why Does a Fund Change Its Name?", which was published in the Journal of Investing, as well as "Stock Options Wars: The FASB Strikes Back," published in Strategic Finance.
