Dean Named to China Board, AACSB "Peace" Task Force

Chinese money Dean H. Fenwick Huss has been named to the Board of Directors of the Georgia China Alliance, a professional association devoted to increasing commerce between the state of Georgia and the People’s Republic of China. Led by Georgia’s business leaders, the Georgia China Alliance builds relationships, opens doors and generates business opportunities with China’s growing economy as it expands its presence in the global market.

In addition, Dean Huss will serve as a member of a new task force formed by the International Board of Directors of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AASCB). The mission of the new task force, Peace through Commerce, is to plan and execute strategies that will encourage business schools to help faculty, students and others to understand and engage in activities that harness the connection between business, social, political and economic stability, and peace.

Earlier in the year, the Dean served as a panel member at a session on Peace through Commerce at the International Conference and Annual Meeting (ICAM) of AACSB.

You're Hired

Those are the words Adam Israelov (BBA ’03) is hoping to hear from Donald Trump. Israelov is one of 18 young entrepreneurs  hand-picked  by Trump for the fourth season of NBC’s The Apprentice. The show began airing on September 22 (at press time it was unknown how far Adam fared in the series).

Adam, 22, graduated at the age of 20 in the top of his class from Robinson’s nationally ranked Risk Management and Insurance program. He began his career at the early age of 19 at Marsh & McLennan Companies. By age 20, Adam was managing a book of business at Marsh USA, Inc., exceeding three million for blue chip companies and providing them with tailored risk management solutions. He recently moved to New York City, where he is currently working for one of the Big 4 Accounting/Advisory Firms advising the heads of Fortune 500 companies on risk management strategies. As a first-generation American, Adam derives his inspiration and entrepreneurial spirit from his successful parents’ business that they started from nothing and grew to a multi-million-dollar enterprise.
