Making Their Mark

Robinson graduates have made their mark in business since the College was founded in 1913. Here we highlight six alumni who hold leadership positions at global enterprises. Based in locales from Atlanta to Istanbul, at firms ranked in the Fortune 500 and Technology Fast 50 and in sectors ranging from consumer goods to professional services to leisure products, these alums demonstrate the value of a Robinson education.

Ahmet Bozer: The Coca-Cola Company Eurasia & Africa Group, Istanbul
Ahmet Bozer
As president of the Eurasia and Africa Group of The Coca-Cola Company, Ahmet C. Bozer leads business activities in more than 90 countries. Headquartered in Istanbul, Bozer oversees business units that cover Turkey, Middle East, Russia-Ukraine-Belarus, Southeastern Eurasia, India and Southwest Asia, North and West Africa, East and Central Africa, and South Africa. (Master of Science–Information Systems, 1983)

Ann-Marie Campbell: The Home Depot, Southern Division Atlanta
Ann-Marie Campbell
She joined the Home Depot in 1985 as a cashier. Today Ann-Marie Campbell is president of the company’s Southern Division. Based in Atlanta, Campbell is responsible for the sales and operations of more than 640 stores and more than 100,000 associates in 15 states, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas. Julio Ramirez: Burger King, Global Operations Miami
Julio Ramirez
Prior to being appointed executive vice president of Burger King Global Operations, Julio Ramirez held leadership positions within its U.S. and Latin America region. Most recently he served as senior vice president of U.S. Franchise Operations & Development. Previously he was president of Burger King Latin America. (BA–Economics, 1975)

Jeff & Sherry Hwang: Pyramid Systems Fairfax, VA
Sherry Hwang
Taiwanese immigrants Sherry and Jeff Hwang are president and CEO, respectively, of Pyramid Systems, a full-service information technology (IT) firm. Based in Fairfax, VA, Pyramid provides software solutions, computer-aided facilities management, business

support services, consulting and advisory services, and business support to government and commercial clients.(Jeff Hwang earned his Master of Science- Information Systems [MS-IS] degree in 1986. Sherry Hwang also holds an MS-IS, which she received in 1987.)

Brent Wouters: Cirrus Aviation Duluth, MN
Brent Wouters
Between his training as an aerospace engineer, his rating as an FAA pilot, and his background in finance, Brent Wouters is uniquely qualified to be at the controls of Cirrus Aircraft. As president and CEO, Wouters helps set overall strategy for this general aviation company, which is known for its single-engine, piston-powered aircraft. It is based in Duluth, MN. (MBA–Finance, 1997)
