A Sign of Four:
Key players in the dialog on the economy's future

Mortgage rates at a historical low. Conflicts with Medicare and health insurance. Jobs in IT outsourced overseas. The first 9/11 rebound in tourism. • Healthcare, real estate, technology, and hospitality and tourism — all are important components of our current economy that will prove to be significant for the future. With the domestic economy as this issue's theme, we offer the following four-part series on these facets of the economy. Four writers tackled different aspects, using experts from the Robinson College faculty and Board of Advisors as well as the Atlanta business community. These articles closely examine the areas that comprise the complex and often misunderstood wonder of our modern economy. • We hope this four-part series provides an interesting and informative discussionm as well as a greater understanding of the domestic economy in its entirety.
