2008 MAX Awards Winners Announced

The 16th annual MAX Awards Breakfast was held Friday, February 29 at the Georgia Aquarium and honored Georgia-based companies for their marketing innovations. James McCaffrey, Executive Vice President, Operations & Strategy and Chief Strategy Officer of Turner Broadcasting System Inc., spoke at the event, where the winners were announced.

The MAX Award (Marketing Award for Excellence) honors outstanding new products, new services or new ways to market that have been developed or launched by Georgia-based companies in 2007. Entries are judged on the criteria of innovation, great marketing and success.

The 16th annual MAX Awards competition will be presented by the Department of Marketing at Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business in conjunction with Atlanta Business Chronicle. All proceeds from entry fees are used to support an Outstanding Minority Marketing Student Scholarship Fund.
