Richard Bowers Provides Endowment to Real Estate Program at Robinson
ATLANTA - September 25, 2001 - Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business announced the receipt of a significant endowment from Richard E. Bowers, president of Atlanta-based commercial real estate firm Richard Bowers & Co. The endowment is being presented to the college's department of real estate to support funding of various departmental programs.

Rabianski, real estate department chairman. "His advice and support has helped elevate our program to its current level of national prominence and we are deeply grateful he has chosen to back our program further with this major gift."
The endowment will be held by the department chair, and according to Rabianski, will not be earmarked to one particular program but will be used to fund various departmental initiatives as the need arises.
Bowers, who attended the university from 1972 to 1974 receiving a master's degree in business administration, is an enthusiastic supporter of the Georgia State and is pleased to make this recent contribution.
"It has been a pleasure working with the Robinson College's distinguished faculty and observing the success of their outstanding real estate program," he said. "The program continues to turn out a wealth of talented professionals and it is poised to make even further contributions to our area and the real estate profession."
