October 25, 2001 - Computerworld, one of the computer industry's leading trade publications, rated Georgia State's J. Mack Robinson College of Business as having one of the top 25 "techno-MBA programs" in the nation. The list of the 25 best, in alphabetical order, appears in the October 22 issue of the magazine and on line at http://www.computerworld.com/. |

The magazine based its results on hard data along with surveys of corporate recruiters and MBA program representatives.
According to Robinson Dean Sidney E. Harris, "All of our faculty and staff are to be congratulated. This ranking not only reflects well on our CIS (Computer Information Systems) department, but on the college as a whole for the way our faculty blend technology with sound business fundamentals."
This is the third magazine to rank a Robinson program among the best this month. BusinessWeek ranked the college's EMBA program among the top 20 in the world in its October 15 issue and Forbes named Robinson a top 20 "best buy" among regional schools in its issue also dated October 15.
