Sidney E. Harris Selected to Elite Group of Global Business Leaders
February 4, 2002 (Atlanta) - Sidney E. Harris, Dean of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University has been selected to participate in the 22nd Annual International Business Fellows Program. The program is the cornerstone of the Society of International Business Fellows, an organization committed to promoting the South as a vital region for global business. This year's program will focus on Southeast Asia and Greater China.
Each year, approximately 40 business and civic leaders are selected to participate in this unique program which has earned a reputation as one of the finest international business education courses in the country.
During the two-week program, Dean Harris along with leaders from 10 Southern states, will travel to Southease Asia to meet with high-profile government, academic and business experts to discuss and learn about the challenges and opportunities in the region.
Upon completion of the program, Dean Harris will be admitted into the Society of International Business Fellows. Membership into the Society is by invitation only and is limited to CEOs, managing partners and other senior decision-makers with significant international business experience.
