Moscow State University Professors Visit Robinson College of Business

Seminar will Provide Insight into Corporte Reform Agenda and SEC Rules October 14, 2002 (Atlanta) - Professors from Moscow State University's (MSU) Economics Department will spend a week with the faculty of Robinson College's Risk Management and Insurance Department (RMI) to gather information that will help the Russian professors improve and expand their RMI program.
Dr. Igor Kotlobovskiy, Dr. Echenique Vladimer, Dr. Varshamova Valentina and Dr. Sadovnichaya Anna will meet with Robinson professors who lecture in comparable courses to those taught in Moscow as well as other highly specialized courses not offered at MSU such as mathematical risk management.
Robinson College's Risk Management Department was recently ranked second in the nation for its undergraduate program and first among public universities by U.S. News and World Report. The department offers undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. programs in several risk-related specialties including actuarial science, mathematical risk management, enterprise risk management, personal financial planning, and risk management and insurance.
