Dhawan Named One of Most Influential Georgians for Third Consecutive Year

January 28, 2004 (ATLANTA) For the third consecutive year, Dr. Rajeev Dhawan, director of the Robinson College of Business' Economic Forecasting Center, has been named to Georgia Trend magazine's list of the 100 Most Influential Georgians. The list recognizes those who are considered to be Georgia's "Power Players."

Dhawan joins an esteemed list of CEOs, government officials, and other academics including Pete Correll, chairman and CEO, Georgia-Pacific; Douglas Daft, chairman and CEO, The Coca-Cola Company; Dr. Julie Gerberding, director, Center for Disease Control and Prevention; Zell Miller, U.S. Senator; and Georgia State's President, Carl V. Patton.

In addition, last year the magazine inaugurated a "Most Influential Georgian's Hall of Fame" to recognize those whose achievements and influence are of such consequence that their effects are permanent. This year, J. Mack Robinson, the College's naming benefactor, was among the five people added to this prestigious list.
