The Nita Robinson Scholars Program was established in 2000 by the College's naming benefactor, J. Mack Robinson, in honor of his wife and is designed to further international study opportunities.
Recipients are selected based on demonstrated interest in international business through career aspirations, academic achievement, community involvement and work experience. Special consideration is given to students involved in the College's Institute of International Business, or who plan to undertake a study abroad program or international internship during the subsequent academic year.
In addition to the Nita Robinson Scholarship, six students were also awarded the Business International Education Program, a grant funded through the U.S. Department of Education. Those students are; Justin Domnitz, Nipa Faruque, Carla Jann, Eric Lucan, Tonya McMillian and Tonia Proby. Each will receive from $500 to $1,000 towards study abroad.
