U.S. News Survey: Robinson's Undergraduate Business Program Ranked Among Top 50; Risk Management Maintains Leadership Position

August 20, 2004 (Atlanta) The J. Mack Robinson College of Business' undergraduate program ranked among the top 50 in U.S. News and World Report's 2005 annual survey of America's Best Colleges released today. Additionally, the college's Risk Management & Insurance program, which has been in the top five for six consecutive years, was ranked 3rd in the nation. Earlier this year, the College's part-time MBA program was ranked among the top ten programs in the country for the ninth consecutive year.
The 2005 survey also ranks Robinson's Management Information Systems program 11th overall.
"Our undergraduate program remains as one of the nation's best as a direct result to our outstanding faculty, dedicated staff and enthusiastic students," said Dr. H. Fenwick Huss, dean of the Robinson College of Business. "In addition, we're extremely proud of our risk management and insurance program which continues to compete among the nation's top business schools."
The rankings are included in the magazine's annual special edition guidebook titled "America's Best Colleges." The guidebook and the magazine containing excerpts from the guide will be available on newsstands Monday, August 23. The expanded online rankings are already available at http://www.usnews.com/.
