February 9, 2005 (Atlanta) - Jim Link, general manager, human resources for Porsche Cars North America, will kick off the Spring 2005 edition of the Atlanta Business Leaders Speakers Series at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Link will address students on Monday, February 14th at 4:30 p.m. at Georgia State University's Alpharetta Center.
As the senior human resources leader for Porsche Cars in North America, Jim Link is responsible for human resources, organizational development and facilities management for the $2.2 billion luxury car manufacturer. Prior to Porsche, Link held leadership roles at The Pillsbury Company and GE Lighting.
The Speakers' Series, launched last fall, provides students and alums with an opportunity to meet and hear presentations from executives with Atlanta's top companies. Past speakers have included Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson General Manager Ben DeCosta; Jeff Dunn, former president of Coca-Cola North America; and Mario Concha, president of the chemical division for Georgia-Pacific.
