Robinson College of Business Executive MBA Program Ranked Among the World's Best by Financial Times
October 23, 2006 (ATLANTA) For the fourth consecutive year the J. Mack Robinson College of Business has been ranked among the top Executive MBA (EMBA) programs in the world in a survey by The Financial Times. The 2006 survey, released today, places Robinson 58th overall in the world, and in the top 25 schools in the U.S. Robinson was one of only two schools (Emory University) in Georgia ranked in the survey.
Robinson Dean H. Fenwick Huss said, "The rankings again establish the College as a major international business school and reflect the exceptional quality of our EMBA program, faculty and students."
Added Dave Forquer, assistant dean of Executive Programs, "The ranking attests to our ability to keep pace with the growing needs of executives by providing courses that address local needs and the emerging demands of the global marketplace."
Robinson's EMBA is an accelerated course of study which allows students to earn a degree in 16 months. Classes meet every other week. One of the highlights of the program is an international residency which immerses students in the culture, business climate, and business practices of international trade. Past residencies have included study in Mumbai, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, Argentina, Spain, Belgium, Czech Republic, Greece, the Netherlands, and Iceland.
The Financial Times ranking is based on a survey of graduates from the 2003 EMBA class combined with statistical data in 16 categories from each school.
