U.S. News Survey: Robinson's Undergraduate Business Program Moves Up in Top 50; Risk Management Continues in Top Five; CIS and Real Estate in Top 10

August 18, 2006 (Atlanta, GA) - Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business undergraduate program ranked among the nation's top 25 public business school programs and in the top 50 of all schools nationwide in U.S. News and World Report's 2007 annual survey of America's Best Colleges released today. Additionally, the college's Risk Management & Insurance program was ranked fifth in the nation, the eighth straight time the program finished in the top five; Real Estate was listed 9th; and Computer Information Systems was ranked 10th.
Earlier this year, the publication ranked the College's part-time MBA program among the top ten programs in the nation for the eleventh consecutive year.
"We are pleased that as Georgia State and the Robinson College enroll a growing number of traditional students, we continue to be recognized among the top undergraduate business programs in the nation," said Robinson Dean H. Fenwick Huss. "It is a testament to the quality of our students, faculty and staff. We are also pleased that our Risk Management and Insurance, Computer Information Systems and Real Estate programs are again ranked with an elite group of business schools nationwide."
The rankings are included in the magazine's annual special edition guidebook titled "America's Best Colleges." The guidebook and the magazine containing excerpts from the guide will be available on newsstands Monday, August 21. The expanded online rankings are available at http://www.usnews.com/.
