Georgia State's Robinson College Moves Executive, Global Leadership
Programs to Buckhead

Georgia State University's internationally ranked Executive MBA (EMBA) program is moving to the heart of Atlanta's Financial District. Beginning this Fall, the Office of Executive Education and the Center for Global Business Leadership at Georgia State's J. Mack Robinson College of Business will be headquartered at 200 Tower Place on Peachtree Road in Buckhead.

Georgia State's Buckhead Executive Center, easily accessible from interstate 85 and Georgia 400, Peachtree and Piedmont Roads, will provide a convenient location for managers and executives to pursue a degree and professional development opportunities. The well-appointed facility will support a substantial expansion of activities.

According to Robinson Dean Fenwick Huss, relocating the Office of Executive Education is part of the strategic vision to make the College's executive programs more accessible. "Robinson has always had a distinct advantage by being in the heart of Atlanta's downtown business district. Now in addition to our downtown presence, offering executive programs in the thriving Buckhead business and residential areas will give managers even greater access to our world class programs and faculty."

The new facility, currently being renovated for Robinson, will house executive classrooms, team facilities, event and conference space and administrative offices.

"The new location enables us to expand our offerings and help area business executives advance their careers," said Dave Forquer, assistant dean for Executive Programs. "We look forward to being an active part of the Buckhead community."

In addition to the EMBA and other executive education classes, the Center for Global Business Leadership, Robinson's new learning center for executive and high potential leaders, will also be headquartered at the Buckhead location. The Center's ongoing leadership initiatives are operating in such locations as Atlanta, San Francisco, and Shanghai, China.

Robinson's EMBA is an accelerated course of study which allows students to earn a degree in just 18 months. Classes meet every other week on Friday and Saturday. One of the highlights of the program is an international residency which immerses students in the culture, business climate, and business practices of international trade. Past residencies to Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Argentina, Spain, Belgium, Czech Republic, Greece, the Netherlands, and Iceland. Robinson's EMBA is internationally ranked by Financial Times.
