March 7, 2006 (Atlanta, GA) - Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business, one of the nation's most highly ranked business schools by U.S. News & World Report and The Financial Times, will be bringing its Professional MBA (PMBA) program to Henry County this fall.
Beginning in September, Robinson will offer the program at a new classroom facility located at 125 Westridge Industrial Boulevard, Suite 101, in McDonough (I-75 South Exit 218).
According to H. Fenwick Huss, dean of the Robinson College, "The move to Henry County is in keeping with the college's desire to make working toward advanced degrees as convenient as possible. With the tremendous growth in the Henry County we felt the area was the next logical location for us to expand." Robinson already has satellite campuses in Alpharetta and Brookhaven. Its main campus is in the heart of downtown Atlanta.
The PMBA program is designed for high potential performers with three or more years of business experience. Classes are held every other Saturday with one weeknight meeting and some online courses. Students spend their first year in a lock-step core MBA curriculum.
According to Huss, "The PMBA fills a real niche for students who are early in their careers. They benefit from the curriculum, but also learn from other students who have the same or similar amounts of business experience."
