College First in South, Fifth in Nation among Public Universities

November 2, 2007 - (ATLANTA, GA) - The J. Mack Robinson College of Business ranked third in the South (first among public universities) and among the top 20 (fifth among public universities) in the nation in BusinessWeek's inaugural ranking of part-time business school programs released today. There are more than 350 business schools offering part-time programs nationwide.

In addition, Robinson's program received an "A" in teaching quality and was named "best for career changers." The College also ranked among the top 10 schools in the nation (sixth) for average salary increase (41.3%) and for having small class sizes (10th).

"The College's strong finish in the BusinessWeek rankings further validates the quality of Robinson's programs, faculty and students," said Dean H. Fenwick Huss. "What makes this all-the-more impressive is the depth of research that is used in compiling the BusinessWeek rankings."

Robinson's part-time MBA is the most well-established and sixth-largest program  of its kind in the nation. The College is the only one in Georgia to offer part-time students:
