Robinson Alumnus Named Vice Chair of Robinson College Board

Michael D. Easterly, co-founder of Legacy Securities Corp., has been named vice chairman of the Board of Advisors for the J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Easterly joined the Board last year and distinguished himself as chair of the board's facilities task force, a committee created to assist the College in securing a new home in the downtown area.
"Mike has an unwavering commitment and dedication to the Robinson College and we are thrilled that he has accepted this leadership role," said Robinson Dean Fenwick Huss. "We look forward to his continued contributions to help the College reach its goal of becoming a premier business school with worldwide reach and reputation."
Easterly, a Robinson MBA alumnus, is a 33-year veteran of the investment banking business. In addition to his role with Legacy Securities, he also serves as director and chair of the Audit and Finance Committees of Luminetx Corporation and as director of its affiliate Snowflake Technologies, Inc. He is active in many professional, civic, and charitable organizations and has served in leadership roles for several organizations. He is past chairman of the board of trustees of the Georgia State University Foundation, past president and director of the Atlanta Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, and a former member of the board of directors of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
