U.S. News Survey Ranks Robinson's Undergraduate Business Program Among Top 50 in the Nation for Sixth Consecutive Year
August 17, 2007 - (ATLANTA, GA) - The undergraduate program at Georgia State University' s J. Mack Robinson College of Business has been ranked among the nation's top 50 business school programs according to the 2008 edition of U.S.News & World Report's "America's Best Colleges" guide. This is the sixth consecutive year that the College has ranked in the top 50.
Three of the College's departments Risk Management and Insurance, Computer Information Systems, and Real Estate also ranked among the top 10 in their respective categories.
"The fact that the Robinson College has once again been recognized among the top undergraduate business programs in the nation is a testament to the quality of our students, faculty and staff," said H. Fenwick Huss, dean of the Robinson College of Business. "The college's top marks in three specialty areas further illustrate our strengths, and these rankings place us among an elite group of business schools nationwide."
Earlier this year, the publication ranked the College's part-time MBA program among the top ten programs in the nation for the twelfth consecutive year.
The 2008 rankings are available on-line at www.usnews.comand will be in the August 27 edition of the magazine, which hits newsstands on August 20.
The Robinson College of Business currently has approximately 5400 students enrolled in its undergraduate business program.
