Robinson Jumps to Fifth in U.S. News Graduate Rankings; College's MBA Program Advances Three Spots in National Survey

  • 9th—Management Information Systems program in the nation
Best Graduate Schools 2009March 28, 2008 - (ATLANTA) - The part-time MBA program at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business moved up three spots to number five in U.S. News and World Report's annual "America's Best Graduate School" rankings for 2009, released today. This marks the fourth time the College has ranked within the top five and the 13th consecutive year that it has been among the top 10 programs in the country. Robinson is the only business school in the Southeast in the top 10.

In addition, Robinson's Information Systems program advanced to the ninth position (ranking 10 last year) in the nation.

According to Robinson Dean Fenwick Huss, "For the past 13 years, Robinson has been a member of an elite group of business schools that have consistently proven their ability to provide working professionals with a quality education. Schools such as NYU, Northwestern, the University of Chicago and Robinson continue to prove that program innovation, commitment to the changing needs of students and the business community, and high-quality faculty and staff are the keys to a successful program."

The U.S. News list is based on a reputational survey of deans in AACSB International-accredited business schools. The rankings are included in the magazine's annual special edition guidebook titled Best Graduate Schools. The guidebook and the magazine (April 7-14 issue) containing excerpts from the guide will be available on newsstands Monday, March 31. The expanded online rankings are available here.
