March 17, 2009 - (ATLANTA) - Rajeev Dhawan, director of the Economic Forecasting Center at Georgia State's Robinson College of Business, was a featured guest on CNN Newsroom with Rick Sanchez when the show broadcast live from the Georgia State University Student Center on March 16.
Sanchez and Dhawan had a wide-ranging discussion about bonuses for AIG employees, bailouts for banks, and the economic outlook.
Graduate student Maru Gonzalez, a graduate student in Georgia State's College of Education who is a regular commentator on Sanchez' show, interviewed GSU students in the audience. Students offered opinions about former Vice President Dick Cheney's role in the economic crisis, the need for more bank regulation, and the public's responsibility to be informed citizens.
