Atlanta Compliance and Ethics Roundtable Merges with Center for Ethics and Corporate Responsibility at the Robinson College of Business
Roundtable to remain a separate entity
March 26, 2009 - (ATLANTA) - The Center for Ethics and Corporate Responsibility, a unit of Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business, has joined forces with the Atlanta Compliance and Ethics Roundtable (ACE) — a union that allows the two organizations to capitalize on mutual interests and complementary missions.
ACE, a private forum at which compliance and ethics professionals discuss common issues and challenges, will remain a separate entity within the center, which works with businesses and other institutions to promote ethics in business and professional life.
"The merger benefits both groups," said Bob Frisbee, who is workplace ethics and compliance director at Southern Company and a member of the Board of Directors of ACE. "Although our purview is narrower than that of the center, both organizations seek to foster an attitude of ethics, accountability and responsibility."
The Atlanta Compliance and Ethics Roundtable will be housed within the center's office in the Bennett Brown (Commerce Club) building at 34 Broad Street in downtown Atlanta, directly across from the Robinson College of Business.
