Entrepreneurship Organizations
1) Atlanta Chamber of Commerce: It is an independent, nonprofit,
member funded organization whose primary goals are to attract quality
jobs and improve quality of life in Atlanta. The chamber works in
collaboration with community and business leaders to solve problems.
The solutions are arrived at using a business approach and the chamber
is funded by corporations, foundations and members.

2) MIT Enterprise Forum in Atlanta: The MIT Enterprise Forum of
Atlanta is a volunteer, non-profit organization whose mission is
to provide educational programs and services that promote and strengthen
innovation and entrepreneurship at the intersection of business
and technology in the Southeast. Their primary goals and objectives
are to promote economic development in the region and work closely
with university community and other vertical organizations to accomplish
these goals. It promotes formation and growth of technology oriented
companies through its executive education programs.

3) Entrepreneurs' Organization: It is designed to help entrepreneurs
connect with each other and pursue a common goal of expanding their
business by learning from others and sharing experiences. Its vision
is to build the world's most influential community for entrepreneurs.
EO has 6600 members with more than 108 branches in 38 countries.

4) Vistage: This organizations main purpose of existence is to bring
CEOs all over the world to a common platform where they can interact
with each other, discuss their problem and come up with solutions
to these problems. Executive training programs are also available.
It has over 14000 members in about 16 countries.

5) Startup Lounge: This organization's goal is to educate entrepreneurs
and investors and give them an opportunity to interact with each
other without being interfered by salespeople, amateur investment
bankers or job seekers. Some of the important programs or activities
are CapitalLounge, The StartupLounge Podcast, PitchCamp and AngelLounge.

6) Technology Association of GA - TAG aims at promoting a growth
environment for technology development in Georgia. It organizes
various events to help connect and grow people and communities.
There are a number of societies within TAG consisting of group of
like-minded people helping to promote a common cause.

7) Advanced Technology Development Center - ATDC is a technology
business incubator and aims to increase the technology business
base in Georgia by supporting entrepreneurs in launching and building
successful high-tech companies. As a part of its activities ATDC
provides business advice and connects companies to people and resources
they need to succeed. ATDC is a part of Georgia Tech's Enterprise
Innovation Institute but most its members are not related to Georgia
Tech in any way. However they get access to resources and talent
at Georgia Tech. The ATDC seed capital fund invests in innovative

8) Atlanta Web Entrepreneurs - It is a business focused membership
organization which supports professionals and entrepreneurs in the
greater metro Atlanta area who want to use the web for their businesses.
Members get to interact with each other, share ideas and experiences,
mentor each other, build relationships and learn about business
strategies and technologies required to launch and operate business
on the web.

9) New Media Women Entrepreneurs - This is a project by McCormick
Foundation which seeks to highlight creative assets of women and
helps address issues of opportunity and innovation, recruitment
and retention for women in journalism. In addition to providing
seed funding for new women led ideas the foundation organizes a
New Women Entrepreneur of the Year award, researches issues regarding
women's consumption and creation of news and organizes a day long
women entrepreneurs' summit.

10) National Association of Asian American Professionals - This
is a non-profit professional organization that promotes career advancement
and leadership development of Asian American professionals in all
fields through networking. There are over 25 chapters, ventures
and affiliates all over United States and Canada and a membership
of over 3000 with over 370 members in Atlanta. The primary goals
of the NAAP are to cultivate and empower the leaders, connect accomplished
professionals for mutual success and engage and participate with
community at large.

11) START Atlanta - An organization formed by the Atlanta Entrepreneurial
community aims to help jump start early stage Atlanta tech businesses.
This organization's goals are to make Atlanta a more appealing location
to start new ventures and to help seed-stage Atlanta tech companies
reach their important early milestones by reducing their financial
worry.

12) Atlanta Entrepreneurship Center - This national program sponsored
by Atlanta Urban League in Atlanta is designed to encourage entrepreneurship
in urban areas, particularly among minority entrepreneurs. Nationally
this program is founded by National Urban League, the Ewing Marion
Kauffman Foundation, National Economic Council of the White House
and the Business Roundtable. The program has two key components:
TECNet and Entrepreneurship Business Mentor Program. TECNet is a
community referral network which links minority business owners
in the Atlanta area to local Resource Partners who provide services
to help small businesses grow and prosper. The Entrepreneurship
Business Mentor Program is designed to assist high-growth minority
entrepreneurs with intensive, one-on-one coaching designed to help
that entrepreneur meet the goals he or she has set. The center tries
to identify firms that have the highest growth potential and are
likely to have the greatest impact in terms of job creation and
urban economic development and provide them a one on one coaching
or assistance which will prepare those firms for expanded financing,
procurement opportunities and help them develop business relationships
with major corporations.

13) National Latina Business Women Association - NLBWA's mission
is to promote, develop and support the rapid growth of Latina business
owners and professionals. The national organization supports the
development of chapters throughout the country and these chapters
deliver programs and services enabling greater success for this
critical, but underrepresented market. The purpose of NLBWA is to
create more representation, visibility, and business development,
networking and mentoring opportunities for Latinas in the world
of business and at the executive levels throughout the country.

14) TiE Atlanta - The IndUS Entrepreneurs is a global nonprofit
organization created for advancement of Entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs,
Corporate Executives and senior professionals with roots or interest
in the Indus region charter this organization. TiE membership is
open to all with the explicit goal to benefit entrepreneurs. The
three main objectives are foster entrepreneurship and nurture entrepreneurs,
provide a networking platform for the members and help members integrate
with mainstream community.

15) Score Atlanta - Score Atlanta is a resource partner of Small
Business Administration. It is part of an organization of over 11500
volunteers and 389 branches nationwide. The volunteers are retired
and working business owners and corporate executives who provide
counseling and advice on various topics. The counseling is free
and is provided in person, on phone, via email and soon on the web.
The organization also conducts various seminars and workshops on
a range of topics.

17) Institute For Enterprise and Innovation - IEI is an all volunteer,
non-profit organization that promotes and accelerates innovation
