Nita Robinson Scholars Program In honor of Mrs. Nita Robinson, J. Mack Robinson endowed The Nita Robinson Scholars Program for $1 million. Faculty Scholarship Award To acknowledge a continuous and long-term commitment to academic excellence. Awarded to students who maintain a 4.0 grade-point-average in the course of accruing a minimum 36 credit hours over a period of no more than four consecutive semesters in residence at Georgia State University within a period of 36 months.

R. C. Williams, M.D. Honor Award The R. C. Williams, M.D., Honor Award was established to honor the late Dr. Williams, who founded the Hospital Administration program at GSU in 1952. The award is given to the MBA/MHA student demonstrating outstanding leadership in the profession through university, community and work-related endeavors.

Everett A. Johnson Scholarship The Everett A. Johnston Scholarship was established to honor Dr. Johnson, a long-time leader in health administration, upon his retirement as Institute Director in 1998. The scholarship is awarded to an MBA/MHA student for academic excellence.

R. J. Knobel Scholarship This scholarship was established upon Dr. Roland "Knob" Knobel's retirement in 1985, after teaching in the Institute since 1970. Academic performance and financial need are considered in making these two awards, one to a first-year student and one to a second-year student in the MBA/MHA program.

The selection criteria include academic achievement, extracurricular activities, communication skills, and professional commitment.
