Honors Day Guest Speaker: GORDON GADDY
Gordon Gaddy is currently serving as Chairman of the Board of TrackingROI. TrackingROI is committed to becoming the premier provider of online advertising tracking, reporting, and proactive fraud detection services.
The TrackingROI platform allows online advertisers to track the performance of their ad campaigns by relating clicks to sales and conversions, regardless of whether or not they occur during the same web browsing session, along with the automatic detection of potential Click Fraud activity, and customized messages to website visitors based upon their browsing history. The two main components of the platform are the Web Analytics Engine and the Patent Pending Click Fraud Engine.
Mr. Gaddy joined Firemans Fund/American Express as Controller of the Life and Health Companies in 1968. He was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer in 1977. From 1974 to 1984 the premium revenue, profit and assets of the Life and Health Companies grew tenfold. In 1984, he joined Fortis, Inc. as President and CEO of American Security Group (now known as Assurant).
In 1990, Gaddy was promoted to President of Fortis, Inc. Under his leadership, Fortis Inc. experienced its highest growth and profits of the 10 year period in 1993 through 1995. From 1995 through 1999, he served as Vice Chairman of InsWeb Corporation (InsWeb.com), and continued to serve on the Insweb Board for another two years. In late 1998, Mr. Gaddy joined the Board of Rewards Plus, a leading provider of benefits management technology. In August 2000, he became Chairman and CEO, a position he held until November 2002. He continues to serve on the Rewards Plus Board.
Mr. Gaddy earned his BBA and MBA degrees from Georgia State University, and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program. He was born in Atlanta, is married to Susan Gaddy, and has three children and eight grandchildren.
