David Alexander is the president of Soliant Health, the healthcare division of MPS Group (NYSE: MPS), a Fortune 1000 human capital solutions provider.  Soliant Health specializes in temporary and direct hire healthcare staffing services to hospitals and healthcare providers across the United States.
 
David began his career in healthcare staffing in 1992 when he founded Atlanta-based Elite Medical. Elite found a niche by providing traveling and contract healthcare professionals to medical facilities throughout the country. By 2002 he led the company to number 218 on Inc. Magazine's list of 500 fastest growing companies in the country. The company was also recognized with the "Pacesetter" award as one of Atlanta's fastest growing businesses. Later that year, David sold Elite, subsequently re-branded Soliant, to MPS Group as its platform into the healthcare industry. 
 
David is the past president of the Georgia Association of Personnel Services and is on the Advisory Board of the Midtown Bank in Atlanta.  He holds a BBA and MS in strategic management from Georgia State University where he was recognized by the school's Robinson College of Business as the 2004 Outstanding Young Alumnus.  David also serves on the Board of Advisors for Georgia State's College of Health and Human Sciences.
